Need to Feed Challenge

Give your donation an extra kick. Our generous community donors are MATCHING your donations between now and June 30th!

The need has never been greater and your donation has never gone further! Jobs have been lost, families need food to bridge the gap between the last paycheck and unemployment benefits. We are there for them, providing food, clothing, and support. More than  22% of residents in Seneca County face food insecurity. Children are going hungry, senior citizens are choosing between groceries and medicine, and parents are going without so their kids have enough to eat. You can help change that! Every dollar you donate will be MATCHED by our community donors, so there is no better time to donate than today.

Thank you!

PayPal is a fast, safe way to make a donation online and the service now offers recurring monthly donations through their donate button for non-profit organizations. Click on Donate and then check the box that says – Make this a monthly donation.

Thanks to generous Community Donors, ALL cash donations made to the Seneca County House of Concern now through June 30th will be DOUBLED!

Donate $25 and your donation will become $50!

Donate $50 and your donation will become $100!

Donate $250 and your donation will soar to become $500!

You get the idea. 🙂

Our goal is to get to $30,000 in donations from people and organizations. If we hit this goal, that means we’ll reach the maximum matching donation for a total of $60,000! YOU can help make this happen!

For the past four years, the Seneca County House of Concern’s Need to Feed Challenge has been an important element in keeping the organization’s food pantry stocked and the non-profit agency equipped to help those with food insecurity in our local communities as well as bring awareness to the needs of our neighbors in Seneca County.

This year as the need continues, sponsors have contributed nearly $15,000 to “The Need to Feed” sponsor fund.  We are now reaching out to the community to match the sponsor donations.  Every donation of food (calculated at $1 per can) or money received will also be counted towards our total.
