FINAL REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN
Final registration and check-in starts at 9:00 AM at Oak Island in Waterloo. Look for signs along Route 5 & 20. Upon arrival check in at registration desk then proceed to launch site and unload boats. Security will check matching bands to the owner and their kayak/canoe (if left unaccompanied), which will be held in a secure area until you return from parking. If you are renting from Waterloo Finger Lakes KOA proceed to their location.
AN ALTERNATE LAUNCH SITE IS AVAILABLE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE THE LOCKS. Check in, do not unload. After check in, proceed to alternative launch site at Waterloo DPW at 45 East Water Street, Waterloo. (Parking is limited.)
If you have not submitted all of your paperwork and paid your fees prior to the day of the event, you must do so at check-in. All participants must check-in to confirm registration and to pick up your t-shirt, wrist-band and packet. Please be prepared for the weather. This is a rain or shine event and will only be cancelled if there is lightning. Be sure to bring sunscreen, hats, water and any other supplies you think you may need.
After your paddle you will disembark at the Seneca Falls Community Center. You will be able to store your boat in a secure area, and enjoy music, food, raffles and awards! In the event you need a shuttle, one will be provided for you to retrieve your car and then come back to get your boat.
