No Gifts Please Party

Dr. Herbert Holden and Rebecca Holden held a No Gifts Please Party on Saturday, July 15th. In lieu of gifts they asked that their guests donate non-perishable food items to the Seneca County House of Concern food pantry.

The Holdens were celebrating a few meaningful milestones in their life. First and foremost, their 50th wedding anniversary as well as recent 75th birthday celebrations. They have always been supporters of the House of Concern and continue to set an example of philanthropy. Their simple twist on gift giving will help many people in need in Seneca County and hopefully inspire others to do the same at their next celebration.

Several bags of food were donated (not all are pictured) including cases of canned vegetables and tuna as well as items, such as boxed cereal, peanut butter and beans.  The continued support of Herb and Rebecca is greatly appreciated as well as the generosity of their guests who donated. Thank you!
