Canal Crawl Coloring Contest Winners Announced

The Second Annual Canal Crawl Paddling Poverty benefitting the House of Concern  invited children to enter the Name the Whale / Color the Whale Contest for a chance to win a whale toy. Entry forms were available at the Seneca Falls Library where several children participated. See pictures below.

The winner of the contest is Georgia Beach (pictured above). The runner up is Maddi Brown. The entries were displayed at the event and were available to view at the Seneca Falls Library along with a story board – A Whale of a Tale, which is the story of a whale that was transported from Seneca Falls to Waterloo as an exhibit in 1891. The display boards were created by Lindsay Scowcroft of Waterloo.

Thank you to all the children who participated, Seneca Falls Library and to Lindsay for your assistance with the contest and displays.
