With planning and preparation well underway for the 2nd Annual Seneca County Community Thanksgiving Dinner, several turkeys were donated by two area businesses.
Dan’s Design Landscape Construction of Waterloo donated 75 turkeys and del Lago Resort & Casino of Tyre donated 65 turkeys. Both businesses understand the importance of community and charitable giving during the holidays as well as many area churches, organizations and individuals who are also donating food, their time and talent to the event. The dinner is a joint effort by the Seneca County House of Concern, Elks Lodge #992, T.R.A.C. Team and the United Way of Seneca County and is open to all Seneca County residents in need of a holiday dinner or just a place to go as to not be alone. Eat- in or pick-up. Delivery is available to those with an absolute need. The dinner will be held at Elk’s Lodge #992 at 2221 River Road, Seneca Falls from 11:00AM – 2:00 PM on Thanksgiving Day.
Thank you to Dan and Cindy Taber and to del Lago Resort & Casino for your continued support and generosity.
