On June 17th, the Seneca County House of Concern ventured into new territory – the golf course. With a group of 6 teams willing to face a sunny but very muddy day as well as the support of local businesses and individuals, we are able to call our first Golf Tournament a success!
With Bill Cram and Lyons National Bank topping off the list as our corporate sponsors, several other businesses and individuals sponsored holes throughout the course including Ace Automatics, Friedman & Friedman CPA’s PC, Susan Noble and Greg & Denise Sarra as well as our own New Beginnings Thrift Shop and New Beginnings Boutique. Several more local businesses – Austin Physical Therapy, Autozone, BEWright, Ciccino’s, The Copy Shop, Five Star Bank, Heather Alexander with Arbonne, Holiday Inn Waterloo, Jessica & Co, Laurie’s Lil’ Popcorn Shoppe, Love’s Italian Ice & Custard, Mac’s Drive-In, Acupuncturist Mary Conley Sarratori, New York Chiropractic College, Seneca Community Players, Seneca Office Products, Sharon Snover, Star Diner, Tops Friendly Markets and WomanMade Products – supplied our tournament and raffle prizes. Eagle Beverage sponsored our drink cart while Seneca Daily and Fingerlakes1.com helped us with advertising.
